AD Chevy Trucks Over 6,000 pictures Brad Allen has an awesome collection of Chevrolet factory pictures that he has set up from film strips. Check them out!
Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

Hello gang, Can you please identify this carb on my 261? I’d like to order a kit for it, but it appears different from the Roch-B of my old 216. I’ve looked at the VIRTUAL MUSEUM OF CARBURETORS, but with no metal tag go off of, I’m in need of a starting point. Plus, the added mess of unknown shizzle below the base, at the manifold has me scratching my head... Many thanks! Jim

Rochester B with a governor.
See section 0 sheet 7 of the factory assembly manual.
I was curious as to how the governor works. The shop manual has a description:

Air cleaner for a 6000 series with PCV option. Nice. Pictures to help determine if you have the 59 261 carburetor.
