Hello gang,

Can you please identify this carb on my 261?
I’d like to order a kit for it, but it appears different from the Roch-B of my old 216.
I’ve looked at the VIRTUAL MUSEUM OF CARBURETORS, but with no metal tag go off of, I’m in need of a starting point. Plus, the added mess of unknown shizzle below
the base, at the manifold has me scratching my head...

Many thanks!
Jim

Rochester B with a governor.

See section 0 sheet 7 of the factory assembly manual.

I was curious as to how the governor works. The shop manual has a description:

Air cleaner for a 6000 series with PCV option. Nice.
Pictures to help determine if you have the 59 261 carburetor.

"Adding CFM to a truck will only help at engine speeds you don't want to use."
"I found there was nothing to gain beyond 400 CFM."
