Stovebolt search brings up 1 post about disc brakes, their prices seem low for 46 1/2 ton spring sets... dont know if they have teflon spacers or not but at the price one could add it........ trying to figure if this is a good deal or will put me further from where i want to be

The deflection rate is the same as spring rate, 1" compression for every 100 lbs applied. 1946 1/2 has a 260 lb spring rate. Be sure to ask what the new ones have.
