I am new to the classic truck world after finally picking up a classic AD truck. Well, I have found that my 1953 chevy 3/4 ton needs floors, kick panels, toe panels, cab corners and probably stuff I don't know about yet. I have looked around and found there to be several suppliers for patch panels but I want to make sure I get a good quality part so I am reaching out to anybody that can help me make an educated choice. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,472 AD Addict & Tinkerer | | AD Addict & Tinkerer Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,472 | The word on the street is they all come from China and more than likely the same factory. None of the panels fit perfectly and will need to be tweaked.

I believe Jim Carter sells a few that are fabbed by Wheelwright Restorations. Inner Kick panels that I used, and inner rear cab corners that would work for the lower portion of the inner cab corner. I needed the whole inner cab corner so couldn't use that one.
I have used the made in Taiwan patch panels and they worked out OK. Just about every one of them needs to be massaged a bit to fit correctly.

Thanks to klhanson, I looked up Wheelwright Restorations located in Wheelwright Massachusetts and found an interesting youtube video on a tour of his shop and some of his work. Not real sure for your year (53) as I don't look for those years so I really don't know but Hey anything is possible. Good luck, and also my .02 cents is they all need too be "tweaked a little.
