For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2020 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2020 Posts: 9 | Hey everyone, I am a complete newbie to this but I seriously did try searching everything I can think of to find a similar thread. Sorry if this is the wrong place or not the right way to ask but I’m trying to figure out What screws attach the upper portion of the hood latch panel to the hood and where to buy them?
I jumped into this a bit late but my father-in-law has had a 1949 3100 sitting in the garage for the better part of 20 years and since we have a ton of time these days I figured what better Christmas present then to get that thing running for him!
Never been a better time to dive into a shelved restoration! My father-in-law and I are going to get this 49 back on the road!

Good luck and good on you for wanting to get the truck running again. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2020 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2020 Posts: 9 | Thank you!!!! Ace Hardware saved me on this one - I've gotten so used to searching online I almost forgot that Ace seems to have everything!! We are so close to having this one on the road again I can almost taste it!
