235 engine in a 1939 master deluxe has the short water pump.
I would like to press the hub down on this pump to make it a spare
pump. Could someone here who has done this before tell me what
the measurement is I would need to to lower the hub ? Any help would
be greatly appreciated. All I need is a measurement........

I pressed one down a few years ago but do not know the measurements.
After all the hassle pressing it I found out I could get one from O'Riellys as a very good price. I bought a new one and gave the other one away....think about it. Good luck.
EDIT: my notes indicate I bought a water pump from O'Rielly's part # MWP 58-126 for $47 dollars. That was 4 years ago. Double check and good luck.
