Is anyone aware of a source for OEM replacement style rims specifically for my '37 GC 6 lug 16"x 4? with spring clips for the hubcaps or that the clips could be added after purchase. I have at least 1 that is bent, but could use for my spare.

I believe Wheel Vintiques, I think that is the name, can supply them. With the car rims their clips only fit the hubcaps made by them. I think the hubcaps are very original looking.
Thanks Riccardo, mine look most like the center one. the slots and spaces appear to be close to equal on mine and the center one. the first pic is stamped as a 15x5 (need 16's) and slots look shorter than the spaces. the third has molded bumps for the hubcaps rather than internal springs and has a odd shape to the slots. I think I have found a yard here in Colorado with some but haven't been up there yet. NY-CO shipping may be the only way but I'll keep it in mind.

thanks truckernix. I already have new repo correct hubcaps and that would steer me away from wheel vintiques if you are correct...but I will look them up for sure.

My neighbour has a 1974 Land Cruiser and the wheels appear to be identical to my 49. 6 lug with clips.
The 6 cyl engine is also a knockoff of the Chevy 235.

The work knockoff has negative connotations; they didn’t have permission or made an inferior product. My understanding was that the land cruiser copy of the engine was done with cooperation from Chevrolet. But maybe I heard wrong -Stan
Didn't mean to imply it was bad. If it was a direct copy, GM would probably have sued if they didn't give them permission. Just passing on what my son-in-law told me. I may be incorrect as well.
