I have to admit some trucks look better with and some without front fenders. I love the look of my 1940 1.5 ton minus the fenders. It’s got that old school hot rod look.
Some trucks do look good without fenders; it depends on what the underpinning and hood look like with the fenders off. If the contours are subtle enough, it has the look of a highboy roadster.

This is what happens when you live with a house-full of women, the wife and daughters name all the cars: 1960 Impala - "Frankie" (Frank Sinatra) 1961 Apache - " 'Mater Jr." (wrecker) 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible 1967 C20 "Ol' Blue" (hidden in a log cabin for 30 years) 1972 SuperBeetle Convertible - "Juliet" 1976 SuperBeetle Convertible - "Olaf" 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce - "Romeo"
Careful what your insurance might do to you in the event you clip a pedestrian Or worse what their legal team may do to you Local laws where I operate explicitly make that illegal -s

I'm a firm believer in drive what you like but, I'm former Law Enforcement and I can most of the time get a warning. 479 h.p.open wheel and 4 inch pipes get attention in the wrong places. DANG! Doc.
Currently making 1954 3100 better than new and Genetics
Ron, many States have a weight requirement in order to run without fenders. Usually in the low to mid 2000s. Under the weight and they can get away with no fenders.ðŸ›

You would have more of a chance getting pulled over in a 2019 silverado with a license plate light out then getting hassled for not having front fenders on a antique truck around here even if there is a “law”.
