Greetings from Florida. I needed something to do so I drug home a '53 Sedan Delivery. I'm not exactly sure what my plan of attack is. Ratrod, I suppose. I'm leaning towards leaving the 235 and 3 speed in it. I always kinda liked column shift vehicles. There seems to be plenty of real knowledgeable folk hanging around here, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
There has been significant discussion on whether or not a "sedan delivery" could be considered a truck or not. These discussions will be cut short, as it has pretty much been decided. However, we do enjoy looking at them. Your forum questions that refer to items common to trucks can be in the applicable forum, car specific posts should be done in the Greasy Spoon (not the best place to get qualified answers).... that said, generic questions in the forums would probably be answered appropriately... but once you let the cat out of the bag that the discussion is about a "car", then the post will most likely be moved to the "spoon".

Welcome, just found an original 1959 Ford p/u even has original tires. I'm keeping it full stock little clean up and patina clear coat and trading it for a 46 Chevy p/u. You will find that everyone here will be receptive regarding your running gear. I could recommend the ones on this site that have helped me way and beyond but I don't want them to get swell headed. Just leave it to say they are the best in the hobby by far, people anyone would be proud of to call friends. Have a good time. Doc.
