I do not see a body like that in the 1953 Chevrolet Truck Silver Book.

According to the article, it appears that the owner was able to compile a list of all the owners down through the truck's history, but not any info as to who constructed it.

Dan sent us a picture of that truck back when he got it (before the restoration), and we featured it on the site as well as in a calendar or two. Haven't heard from him in a while but I did remember the truck.
