wow have been trying to connct with big bolt for 2yrs...have read a lot but missed a lot of pictures cause i wasnt logged -in ...my son says im now reeady to go...so will give info from ill corn-belt wilderness ! good news is the belt is full of 6400 size trucks that are just too small to use. combine holds more than the truck ! theres for example alot of those widow maker wheels rusting away ...also some good tin ware...driveline...just stuff. My latest is 51 6400 235 good ole truck ! put a set of 2 under bearings in it in the truck now starts runs rides and drives put on about 4500 miles in coffee shop runs since 8-1-18. more later

You do know you can go back and add to your previous post as long as no one has replied to it. No need to post every 3-4 minutes.
Try using capital letters a period or two and spacing. A lot of us are older and were taught how to properly compose a sentence. You are not texting on your phone. Thank you.

I was just researching this for my 1956 LCF.
I found most people recommend neets foot oil for leather or permatex hydraulic jack oil (formerly shock oil?).
I am going to put neets foot oil in mine this week.
My Hydrovac works fine but was not serviced for 9-10yrs.

Mike, thankyou for a reply on that oil question, my boosters work but suspect they are dry {the leather} ! That is a big leather cup ,i never thought about that shock oil will look into that !
