The truck is 200 miles away from me and 80 miles from anything that resembles a parts store. No hub/rotor or whatever the correct term is for drum brakes. My local parts store was no help. Also where the truck is located there is a 67-72 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive truck I can pull parts off of.
Quickest, easiest thing I think would be the hub/rotor off of the 3/4 to make it roll on the trailer. Does anyone know if the bearings etc will fit to put a tire on to roll on the trailer?
Next best plan is if anyone knows of another junkyard hub/rotor that will fit to roll it?
Last not so good plan is skid it on the trailer as is with wood or old tires under it.
Any other ideas to help get it to the house?
I tried to do pics but no luck for me.
My new 1949 Chevy One Ton Dump Truck. Still have it but parked, needs a new motor.

Likely a difference between 67-70 C10 front spindles and 71-72 spindles as the earlier had drum brakes and later had disc brakes. Need to know year for gathering parts.
I would consider a car dolly to haul it. Get front end on dolly, strap it down & head home. Very doubtful the 3/4 ton stuff will fit the C10.

Pulling it on backwards may be better, may drag better, don't know. May be better to take the other front wheel off and drag whole front suspension/frame on pallets. Pallets are free. Take a bunch with you. Old tires and pallets, what could be more fun

The way it is sitting it will go on the trailer backwards.
Definitely not fighting it to turn it around and then fight it up the ramp
