Been having a little issue with the doors closing especially the drivers side not wanting to latch every time causing me to have to slam it just a little harder. I was looking into door latches and striker plates and then heard about these door latch repair clips. I found them where I shop at Classic Parts so on my next order I got a couple. I got my order in from Classic Parts today and the door latch repair clips came. I was a little skeptical when I ordered these clips and wasn't really expecting much but at only $4.50 a pop I figured what the heck. WOW....what a HUGH difference. Both doors now latch with ease. Didn't even have to adjust the striker plate. Added a little grease and that was it. I'm a happy camper now

I well have to try them, I replaced my latches and strikers, drilled the plate out as far as they go and I still have to slam the door, worse with windows up.

I had a similar experience like olezippi: my driver’s door latch was possessed by the devil until I finally invested in that door latch repair clip. OMG what a difference! Has worked like new ever since I installed that little jewel. Good luck, Dave

Same here. My striker was worn badly and the door wouldn't close properly. This little clip solved the problem.

I have 49 striker plates and 52 latches and wasn't sure if they would work or not. I can't keep from opening and closing the doors ☺ They are great.

They are supposed to work on truck years from '47 to '63.

The clip worked for me too on one of my doors.

Was your latch in to bad of shape for the clip to work on your other door?
