Greetings from Derbyshire, England.

I joined Stovebolt last Summer but have only been reading so far. Thanks to all of you who freely contribute your knowledge and experience to help those of us newer to our trucks.

So, the truck is a 51 3600 that came over here around 2007 from North Dakota. We've had it 18 months or so and enjoy cruising the gentle green hills around home. The forum posts have already assisted with a carb rebuild and getting it running smoothly. Now its up a level or two of brainpower and I'm working through to reduce the fluid loss from front to back. So far posts have helped me with core plug replacement, a badly grooved balancer, a sump missing its front and rear gaskets, a plugged flywheel undercover that was consequently giving the flywheel oil bath lubrication and I'm now on the driveshaft seal (question post will follow on the appropriate tech forum). Progress is slow but steady!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
