In the initial days of Karting there was a engine called a Turbineque (sp) A turbine that developed thrust as well as crankshaft torque. Never became a class because of the cost factor.

Didn't the Coyote used to use one of these when he was chasing the Roadrunner around? Seems to me the vendor was Acme something or the other....
