For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2018 Posts: 42 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2018 Posts: 42 | I need to replace the rear spring shackles on my 1940 1/2 ton truck. The bushes are 1.74" long.; the pins are 3.07' long. I have looked on a couple of sites where the parts are listed, but none seem to give dimensions. I am in Australia, so I need a supplier that post to here. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Here's a link to their item. 34-55 1/2 ton rear sping shacklesThey may ship to you. It's worth a call to them.

Locate the parts you are interested in on the drawing, then scroll through the next few pages to fine what all they fit. Looks like 1933 - 1954 1/2 tons all used the same shackles and pins.

Jim Carter has them on back order, but I actually located a set in Australia this morning (at a greater cost though), so I'm set. I will post a picture of my pickup when it's all finished. | | |
