A few pic.s, of my most recent progress. Still need to finish installing the new glass, Fulton Sunvisor, marble reflectors, restored Beacon Light, rear fenders, Factory Towing Cradle, and other interior accessories. Future plans this Spring, are to paint the booms red, to match the wheels.

The first heavy haul rig I ran had a Holmes 650 on a Diamond REO 3-axle with a 270 Caterpillar engine.. I believe the wrecker system was a Korean war surplus military rig. I spent about as much time patching on the wrecker and the 25 ton belly winch as I did towing 18-wheelers!

Great looking truck. I spent many hours in our 1951 Chevrolet 6500 with a W-35 Holmes and a coffin box. You could move everything with it if you could hold the truck in place. I have the truck but not the wrecker.
Lots of great memory's in that truck.

What a treat to see such a beautiful rig.
Can't wait to see the finished product!
Keep up the great work.
