From Tom :

Well, I finally got a couple of pic's for you. This is my 1964 C80 Chevrolet tandem dump truck. I bought this truck in 1967. It was spec'd with all the heavy options of that time -- 409 CID V8, 5 speed main, 3 speed auxiliary, 12,000 lbs front axle, 34,000 lbs rears, double frame power steering, straight air brakes, air operated radiator shutters, deluxe heater, air horns, front pull hooks.

This truck has worked hard through its life with very few problems.

The 409 was last rebuilt in 1980. It was replaced with a Goodwrench 427 in 1988. It is currently semi-retired and used for our property maintenance. Some day I hope to restore it.

Thought you might also like to see my 1947 Dodge WDX Power Wagon ~ interior. It has a rear PTO. I restored this to its former glory and the wife and I drive it as much as possible.

You might enjoy my Dad's 1958 GMC 550. This truck was restored in the late 1990's and used for parade's.

And if that's not enough, here's my 1977 Chevy K 30. This truck was ordered in September of '76 and received February '77. It was the 14th truck off the line of this model. It was restored to its original condition in 2000. This was the first year (1977) of the one ton 4X4 with duals (dually) and the THM 400 transmission in 4X4 trucks. This truck was equipped with every available option from GM at the time -- Silverado Package [ interior photo ], velour cloth seat, sliding rear window, power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, factory tach, dual tanks, dual batteries, etc. The truck has the 400 CI V 8 THM 400, 4:56 ratio, "No-Spin" locker in rear. It has a Dana 70 Rear and Dana 60 front. I put over 400,000 miles on this truck. The truck is still driven at least once a week.

Thanks for your great site. A friend of your's and mine referred me here (Doc Dave Langford).
