AD Chevy Trucks Over 6,000 pictures Brad Allen has an awesome collection of Chevrolet factory pictures that he has set up from film strips. Check them out!
Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

1947-1953 AD 3100: Anyone know if the pickup full-size rubber floor mat will fit a panel truck? I know the seats are an entirely different configuration, but are the risers the same size-shape?

The Parts Manual shows different floor mats. But I think that you can use the "reproduction" mats "as-is" or with minor adaptations (trimming). Wait to hear from a Panel Truck owner who has bought the reproduction mat.

I just got this reply from Truck Shop: Your previous message: Hi guys. Any idea if this will fit a panel truck? Panel seats are different, but not sure if the risers are the same. New message from: truckshop_oc They are the same, it stops short of the riser i believe

Here are a couple of shots of pickup vs panel seat risers. Although the seats are different, the risers appear to be identical size and shape. Note, the pickup riser has been cut away thus revealing the profile.

Thanks Alvin. That's reassuring because that's where I ordered mine.

OOPS - Classic Parts is out and doesn't have an ETA on any more. Any idea who else might carry original-style rubber floor mats?

Jim Carter Parts Chevs of the 40s and, probably several other reproduction parts vendors (I cannot find a link to the list of vendors?).

I believe Jim Carter was the first to come out with floor mats with the correct top border detail. Others now carry them. You need to look at their pictures and descriptions to be sure of that detail if that is important to you.

Follow up: I got the OEM-style pickup front floor mat and, as Alvin predicted, it fit my panel truck perfectly with no modifications. I got the mat NIB from a fellow who decided not to use it, but it originally came from Jim Carter Truck Parts, as 52Carl recommended. Thank you gentlemen!
