Thanks for the compliments, I built the truck over the course of two winters and some of this summer. The paint is Imron satin finish , I didn't want too shiny paint for an old truck. I thought about trying to do a patina paint job, tried a bit of experimenting and decided it is harder than doing a standard paint job. I do have a "built not bought" on the truck box.
I did a Facebook post about 70 years of Chevy trucks, my 2016 High Country has a 6.2 litre V8 with 420hp, 46 has a 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder rated at 123hp, 2016 8 speed automatic, 46 has 3 speed standard floor shift, 2016 air, tilt, cruise etc, 46 has a crank out windshield and a vent on the cowl. 2016 remote start, 46 has a "stomp on starter" and a hand crank if you are able. I wonder if 70 years from now someone will be restoring the 2016.
Dissing Chevys on a Chevy site! Not nice Mr Glenn.

Before this thread goes too far off track, let’s remember the Stovebolt.com mission. 1972 and older Chevy/GMC Trucks. Leave the late model stuff for someone else’s site, please.
