You will need a V8 bellhousing which accepts the Saginaw transmission pattern of your original transmission and you may have to do some modifying to make the clutch work (out of my realm of knowledge). You will need exhaust manifolds from a 265 V8 in order to clear the manual steering box. I hope that your frame is in perfect condition. A 305 with 4.11 rear end gears will put a serious amount of twist on the frame when you stomp on the gas pedal.
