Have had a few old trucks mostly Ford F-1 pickups but recently purchased a 1950 Chevy 3100 5 window in original condition. Truck is very solid and all I plan on doing is to go through the mechanicals and keep the body as is. Will do brakes, wiring, tune up and repair some minor issues but looking forward to getting it on the road and enjoying it. This looks like a great site with a lot of helpful information.

Welcome to the Stovebolt madness. There is no cure! I approved your brake post and moved it to the Driveline Forum. Read Rusty’s post above and try to post questions in the appropriate forum. Thanks. shake

Welcome BobF. Always good to see more New Englanders come aboard.
Just finished a 5 window myself, and somehow have lots of leftover parts. Let us know what you need or want to pop up and check out the shop.
