Had a 50 Chevy 1/2 T back when it was only 20 years old, used it as my only dirver. She was "Mathilda" to me and my friends and family. Re-built the motor, re-wired and was getting ready for body work when Mathilda was t-boned and rolled while my pregnant wife was driving. Sold her a year later. After about 40 years, we finally found a 1947 3600 for a good price to put together with the son my wife was carrying when Mathilda was hit.
This sweet 47 is "Tillie" and that is Sue behind the wheel, passenger is my son's girlfriend, Lori, and that is Jesse, my son, on the left...

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
