I've come across a complete '71 Cad CdV in great shape (from the doors forward!). It got hit hard in the left quarter and spun the right quarter into a pole, but the accident didn't affect the drivetrain. Does anyone make brackets to fit the complete 500 setup in a '41-'46? I'm going with a Mustang IFS and a F-ord 9" rear on the stock Chevy frame. Suggestions???

That kid's project is wild.

I have a Cadillac 4.5 ltr which runs pretty well. I've been wondering about using it as the power for an S-10/Astro based all-wheel-drive AD pickup.

Probably just a crazy thought, but its a Cadillac in an old truck, so I had to share it here.

i think you're gonna find the front sump pan is gonna give you problems so start looking now for a eldo pan and pickup tube and i think you'll need the dipstick+tube.

might want to look at 318/340/360 mopar engine mounts OR build a plate off the engine to accept a chevy mount(use a HD mount with the locking tabs)

I've replaced those motors in Caddys and they are "HEAVY"! If you haven't thought of it already it is going to make your truck way front end heavy. They also require a large amount of cooling so that will have to be upgraded also.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, just my thoughts.
