I think I'm going to pass on putting the cadillac engine in the truck. I just came across a stellar deal on a fresh rebuilt '71 Chrysler 440 engine complete from carb to oil pan, so that engine is going in the '71-Dodge D100 of mine. The complete 383 drivetrain I have from a '68 Monaco (63K miles!) is going to be the motorvator for the '46!!! So, when i say the truck has a "383" and open the hood with the viewer expecting a stroker SBC, he'll get an eyeful of Mopar power!!!

I get tired of seeing SBC engines in rods, regardless of car make...It's time the tables were turned!!!

I like it! Too bad there isn't an engine picture, or a source for his disc brake conversion listed!

what ever happened to the hopped 200hp chevy 235 6, idon't have yet but i am working on it.over budget about 25% for this year, have to wait. i worked on safety this year, power brakes, alittle more power dual carbs, dual exhaust and lowering springs. if you wonder what springs have to do with safety you haven't seen what was under my truck. ron
