Hi guys,..Thanks for having me.. I was around on the forums many years ago.. Sometime in the late 80s (I'll have to check my records), I bought this old truck.. A 1946 Chevy 2-ton ton and a half.. "Old Gabe" was the name given it by one of the previous owners.. For the last 25+ years it has been in pieces, scattered across Desoto co. Mississippi.. With the internet being what it is today, the landscape looks a bit different, and things are more in my favor.. I would very much like to see it back together in some form or fashion.. Once I get things going, I'll post the rest of the story..

Stan

Edit August 2024 by Peggy M. Stan's been here and about and posted to get more info on his Chevy. You can follow it HERE in Big Bolts. Turns out his truck is 2-ton and he's ready to get moving on this project. thumbs_up

Welcome to the garage.
That 46 is well worth saving!
Myself, I would just get it back on the road and safe to drive.
The rest of the truck, will tell it's history, just the way it is.

Stan, welcome to the Stovebolt. No need to "wait" for the rest of the story, from here on out you can make it your story as well and as the guys have said, we are here to help. I like the truck the way it is. It really talks to this old farm boy!!
