Here's the green turd, enjoying life......

The banner was given to me from an Orchard Supply Hardware outlet about 8 years ago after I inquired about buying it from them after the holidays. They were going to throw it away. Saved!

Third pic is when we just got back from a tree farm today.

Let see your Xmas pics!!

The '48 gets to park in the garage for a change since we're out of town for Christmas in Mrs. Wally's car. The pictures were taken several years ago. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

The past couple years I have parked my 54 in front of the house and decked it out with Christmas lights. I don't know if I will get a chance this year. A local produce market that has been in business for 100 years asked if I could park my truck on the weekends at their market to promote their Christmas tree sales. They went all out and decorated everything with Red AD trucks, signs and even their gift cards. Every Saturday until Christmas Santa sits in the back of my truck and visits with the kids and poses for photo ops.

Mine is waiting for a butt transplant. Truck needed brakes and the drums couldn't be turned.Huck brakes, drums are nearing extinction.

Since I failed at locating a 14 bolt, I am using the rear from a 69. The bottles on the end are longer and the brakes are mucch larger and self-adjusting. Using the GM 16 x 6 wheels, the spacing should be close to original. I had to remove the trailing arm brackets, and the differentials are in the shop getting the brackets transferred. Santa won't have my help this year.

The "51 agreed to participate in our annual Free Range Wild Christmas Tree hunt. We always cut a few extra's and leave em at a little country store with a "Free Tree" sign. They always disappear before Christmas Eve. I apologize in advance for the pixelated images. By the time we finished hanging the old circle cut saw blade over the newly finished gate, it was getting late. Then we started cutting trees. And yes, yes that is a cup of Christmas Cheer on the ground at the cabin.

Nor can I. I’ve never had this issue, have deleted and reloaded a couple times. Hopefully a mod can provide some guidance/help.

Thought I'd stumbled on a reason for the non working images. My generally slow rural internet is Viasat satellite. So thinking that last evening the upload took too long resulting in the images not properly loading to the 'bolts server. At 6am this morning my upload speed is 3.8 meg up which is pretty good for me. Delete images and reload, still not working.

Taking another shot at showing the '51 helping with this years wild tree harvest. One for our house, rest to give away to those who likely won't have a tree.

A shade of dark green was the standard Advance-Design Chevrolet standard-cab truck color
1947-1952 was Forester Green, and, Juniper Green for 1953-1955st.

It seems like a light blue (Windsor Blue or Transport Blue) might have been ordered by Southern dealers (depending on year - a light blue was a no-extra-cost option).

Juniper green might be quite appropriate if that is your tree of choice.

My wife, son, and I did a gender reveal for my family today for our second baby. We will do her family tomorrow. The ole one ton was fun to drive in the snow today! It drove remarkably well in the newly fallen snow.
