Have anchor plates but thinking I still may need to beef up floor under seat? Thanks

I’d use shoulder belts if/when I do it again, lower locations stay same. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Again, may as well use shoulder belt. Same details for the bottom mounting points plus one at your preferred height in the door pillar. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | Thanks Grigg for the great detailed photos. The belts I have are pretty long so I'm thinking of bolting these directly to the rear of the under seat panel then fish the belts up and around seat cushion. Or I might be able to go between seat frame and the gas tank?
Wish I'd seen the retractable belts before I bought these. Also have some seat belt retractors that will roll up the outboard belts when not in use vs falling off the seat.

If you think about how a seat belt should work you don't want it passing in and back around and under stuff, they should be pretty much straight line to your lap. The locations I chose allow that as best you can do in an AD truck, in my opinion. I felt that mounting the center ones to the cab floor right close to the seat riser, large washer underneath, was stronger than bolting to the seat riser alone. (also don't have to remove gas tank to bolt them in)
Whatever you do Install them as safely as possible to suit yourself.
