Hey Tim , very nice color! My 54' 3600 has that color on the firewall and I'm wanting to go back to it when I paint the Truck. So far I have not been able to get a "match", the local paint shop mixed up some WE5765 and its close but a tad bit dark. They were unable to reference the WE7917 / or PPG 44621 codes, so I'm still searching. Any chance they provided you with the formula ? My last ditch effort will be to schedule them to bring their "color camera" and sample the existing paint on the firewall / cowl.

Dusty53, i went in my local paint store and asked for 1954 Ocean green and they mixed it up for me. I'm using dupont product which is now Axalta Coating Systems.

Ah yes, the ol' "tape to protect against the hinge arms and hood spring" trick. I just learned the same on my work.

Looking great!

Looking awesome. I’ve been neglecting my Burb for last 2 months. I need to get back on the reassembly.

Hey Tim, I love the photo. The way you took it makes it look like a strange Cab Over!
