| | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | By measuring the kingpin holes in the axle beam, should be a snug push fit on the kingpin when clean, only a couple tenthousandths of an inch over pin diameter.
If the holes are worn egg shaped then the oversized kingpin kit is the repair, along with accurately reaming the axle beam to fit the oversized pins.

If the axle bore is no longer round, you need to ream it out to fit oversized pins. If the bore is still round with a good tight fit of the original pins, then order the standard size.
The spindle bushings will match the pins, but if the spindle bores are worn, they will need repaired or replaced.
