Checking in to announce I've finally made it. Read some good stuff here and now able to log in and ask questions etc. I've picked up a 60 GMC V4000 and need help getting started. Have a few rust issues but not bad, driver side door step. Brakes are the big thing. Looks to be a nice project, will make a nice farm truck. Hope to learn a lot here, make some new friends and bring back a piece of big iron. Thanks, Denny

Welcome Denny, yes it will make a good farm truck. Maybe we can see a pic or two. Good luck with it.

Denny, welcome to the Stovebolt.....your now a Southern Stovebolter!
Congrats on the GMC. Tons of knowledge here. Just ask questions in the garage forums and let us help you enjoy the journey.

......I'm just south of the N.C. border in the Gaffney/Spartanburg area. Are you close? If so, the hot dogs and cold Pepsi are on me the next time your close by.

Denny, haven't seen him around lately but there are a couple more Stovebolters in Winston and I believe one in King NC.
I spent a couple years in Winston back 03-04 out on Stratford Road. Sure would love to have one of those big steaks from "Putters" out toward Clemmons. ( I hear they moved?) .....and send me a loaf of the "sugar bread" from Old Salem!!
