I am (I think...are they ever really?) done my 1 ton! I drove in to my friend mechanic to get an inspection done tomorrow. It was awesome seeing thumbs up and smiles as I rolled down main street. But I’ve become very attached to that big, black truck sitting in my garage and I feel very uncomfortable with it sitting in someone else’s shop.

As I left, my pal Jesse said, “ Don’t worry! I won’t put too many miles on it!”

I left having flashes of Ferris Bueler’s Day Off with that Ferrari!

I don’t think I’ll sleep much tonight!

By the way it took 45 minutes to get out of there as people kept pulling up and wanting to chat! I happily obliged.

I love these old trucks. People don’t stop in flocks to check out a lifted f250...

Wow, nice truck and great write-up expressing the emotional side of owning one of these special old vehicles.

Howdy Fox

You are allowed to be nervous due to the tremendous amount of hours you have in this project.

It was a treat to meet you and your wife and son, what a happy fellow. He will grow up with that truck
and some day it may be his.

Enjoy the summer off and tackle the 70 with as much gusto.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
