For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 2,168 A teacher, but always an apprentice. | | A teacher, but always an apprentice. Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 2,168 | I am (I think...are they ever really?) done my 1 ton! I drove in to my friend mechanic to get an inspection done tomorrow. It was awesome seeing thumbs up and smiles as I rolled down main street. But I’ve become very attached to that big, black truck sitting in my garage and I feel very uncomfortable with it sitting in someone else’s shop.
As I left, my pal Jesse said, “ Don’t worry! I won’t put too many miles on it!”
I left having flashes of Ferris Bueler’s Day Off with that Ferrari!
I don’t think I’ll sleep much tonight!
By the way it took 45 minutes to get out of there as people kept pulling up and wanting to chat! I happily obliged.
I love these old trucks. People don’t stop in flocks to check out a lifted f250... | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Nice post Fox. Thanks for the update.

You are allowed to be nervous due to the tremendous amount of hours you have in this project.
It was a treat to meet you and your wife and son, what a happy fellow. He will grow up with that truck and some day it may be his.
Enjoy the summer off and tackle the 70 with as much gusto. Howie & Valerie
