Yes you heard correct. smile I had a customer come in today and ask how much a 55 gallon barrel of Bondo would cost. He had an old truck he was going to fix up. (He was dead serious about the bondo) smile

We used to joke when I worked in a body shop about building a 2x4 form and pouring plastic filler in it to repair a destroyed panel.I guess this guy must have overheard me and and is going to chisel out a new fender from a block of filler.

I know one thing, He will look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy when He is done....Bondo
when breathed into the lungs will harden and become part of Your lungs making it very difficult to get air....alwys wear a dust particle
mask.....Bill B

If his '76 Chevy is like the one I had he may need a drum of Bondo. Every time it rained I got wetter driving it than if I walked in the rain.

My contractor uses Bondo to replace rotted wood in window trim or architectural molding. Nothing structural. He buys it in gallon cans.
He used to buy special wood filler before he found out it was nothing by re-labeled Bondo.

I saw a fake hood scoop molded out of Bondo and 1/4 inch wire mesh. That was a cool 64 Falcon.
