Im sure one of you guys with a pre 47 pickup with the adjustable windshield can help me. I just had my window regulator rebuilt by bow tie bits and installed it in my truck, I was missing the bracket that tied the regulator to the window but luckily they sell it too. My question is simple, what screws (size) do you use to fasten the bracket to the windshield and to the regulator itself? Thanks for your help before hand.

It's a fine thread, mine are 3/16 x 32 tpi. this screw came out of center divider where bracket attaches, couldn't get others out. PM me with email for pics etc Actually 10 x 32 sorry (10 is drill size per my thread template)

Thanks for the pics, i'm sure we talked before. I have an original Fulton that had on my flatbed for a while, sure like that look. May sell the flatbed, can't decide, just don't drive it much.
The wood kit on the Fleetline is the ultimate vintage cool look, seen a few of those over the years in Vintage Chevy Club.

Yeah we have talked before, not too long ago. I remembered because your in Turlock I have family there. I love the look of the truck with the visor now, only downside is icant fully open the hood any more so I ordered some hood props. Thanks for the compliments. I still have to rebuild the 235 I got, just took it apart but am not sure where to go from there.

What year is the 235, hope it's after 1954 for full pressure. 1955 and later you can get a kit to use 216 style water pump other wise later water pumps will hit the radiator. Must be some good rebuild shops up your way. Good luck

1954 and later for high-pressure engine oil-lubrication . . .

And, 54/55st do not need water pump adapter (a 55-63 235/261 jewel/saviour produced by Pre '68 Dave).

I looked specifically for a 54 after reading all the stovebolt eres advice on the advantages of getting a 53 or 54. Mine needs a full rebuild, the pistons have the .030 over stamped on it, so I suppose it’s been rebuilt once. Is there a good book you would recommend that gives good step by step on how to rebuild these?

If you do not have a Shop Manual, and you plan on keeping your truck, you should have a copy of the Shop Manual, which is available in reproduction/original on eBay and in reproduction any any of the vendors in the Links section here.
