Hi folks.
a local old car fella I know bought a Sun 104 Distributor testing machine and he is looking for a source for repair manuals.
I have tried doing some searches, but have not found anything for the 100 series, most of what I found is for the 400/500 series.
Anyway, just thought I'd ask in here, never know what some of you folks know.

It was almost impossible to get any sort of repair information- - - - -"Make an appointment- - - -we will send a service technician". I was a training instructor for Sun shortly before the company got into financial trouble and was purchased by Snap-On in the mid 1990's. I would be very surprised if any technical material at all can be found pertaining to distributor testers. I do know that the neon flash tubes for the strobe light were all made by one employee- - - -who retired and did not share some of his secrets! My Sun distributor tester has a strobe that doesn't flash, and no replacements have been available in over 20 years!

It's part of my Museum and I like to have it all things in the display working like they originally did. He sold me all the parts I needed to get my 404 electronically rebuilt, new caps, resistors, and new rectifier diodes to eliminate the tube. Works perfect now. Also has reprinted manuals, reproduced and used accessories, rubber parts, and tools. Jerrry, He had strobes but is out of them at the moment but if you go on his website, it looks like he will be reproducing them this year. http://www.paramountd.com/parts.html
