I have tried 3 switches & tumblers & none work right. First I thought it would be the tumbler at fault but a new one didn't help. I bought a new switch quite a while back but for health reasons I just got around to putting it in. It did the same thing. I went to Classic Parts & bought new switch & tumbler thinking this will be a matched pair. This time I tried it before I installed it & they do the same thing. I will take them back to Classic parts next week & see what they say.

In the first "on" position all three poles have continuity, in the farthest CW "on" position there is no continuity between poles. Once the key is turned one position clockwise I can remove the key and turn it one more position clockwise and back, but I cannot turn it to the off position unless I put the key back in. I would never have thought to check that until I read your post and got curious. So its seems as if these switches are fully CCW is the only "lock position" ? Please post what you figure out.
