It seems to be a lost art. None of the mainline glass people seem to be interested. I am in the process of redoing my doors. I carried my framed door glass and vent window glass into a shop. The owner looked and seemed to struggle with the idea of doing them. He finally offered to do them for $150.00 if I would leave them with him for several days. I didn't. :hammering:

1960 apache stepside | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | I priced having glass cut for my 54 doors and back glass but found I could order it cheaper from one of the supplies. It would have cost even more for the tinted glass.
Call the South Austin Speed Shop for suggestions. They should know of someone who works glass. Do not expect it to be cheap though. I had quotes of $45 just to install the glass in my vent windows.
Also, out in Bastrop is the Tint Shop. I called him and he has over 10k classic glass patterns including all the Chevy and GMC trucks from 1932 on. He called me about a week after I ordered all the side and door glass for the burb and said it was done. Just thought it may be a good link to ad to the site.

Our shop is www.aglassenterprise.com we have a pattern wheel for every make and model car and truck starting around 1927-28 all the way to the mid 1960's for all flat glass.
