Nothing for sale YET, but I am getting close to buying a fairly straight truck for the major parts and the title (It is minus the engine, bumpers, & 1 rear fender). Some minor surface rust only on body parts.

I'm wondering if there is much of a demand for hood, fenders, spare tire mount, running boards, & transmission here on Stovebolt. Maybe more available later. They are somewhat rare parts I think???

Any advice or interest in the leftover parts would help me justify the price of the truck, which is kinda spendy! Located in SW Colorado.

Thanks, Daryl

When you decide to sell parts you're welcome to place an ad in the parts for sale forum. General questions don't go there so I'll move this to General Truck Talk.

Daryl, I've hung onto pieces for some time and then got rid of them only to find someone in need the next week! I think we all experience that to some degree.
Parts for your model are getting even harder to find than just a few short years ago. Especially when scrap metal went so high.
Demand??.....I'd say yes but you have to let the folks know which means advertising...if you should decide to sell. Ads in Hemmings Motor or in a magazine like the Generator/Distributor, if your a member of the VCCA. Most all of those folks try to stay original and some will buy up parts as inventory.

Good luck on your 36. Its the last year Chevy half tons had some wood in the cab.

Thanks Tiny! I should know better by now, but my logic told me it should go where the parts shoppers are. Sorry!

Chipmunk - I'm with you on not throwing anything away, I'm a Chevy truck hoarder of sorts! Hemmings and VCCA sound good, but I will always post parts or whatever here first. I've helped a few guys here, and been helped by a few guys here, and appreciate the 'Bolt' for that, so always here first!
