I see that the front spring shackles are part of the bolted up front. Was wondering about where and how to support things so that I can replace the front bumper supports without things falling apart on me.

Even though two of the bolts on each side go thru the front spring mounts, those are fastened to the frame independently. I just removed the broken up front bumper supports from my truck and it's sitting there on the wheels without any other support added.
