For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 | I have a 49 suburban that did not have the headlight trim ring on it when purchased. I've driven like that for couple years but decided to put on the trim rings. One side went on w no issues but bucket on driver side doesn't have the slot for the top clip to fit in. I'm thinking somewhere in its past the PO must have swapped out for a later bucket. Any suggestions other than find the correct bucket on how to attach the ring?

After I posted I took it apart to to see if I could figure out how to mount the ring . Its not upside down and definitely not a 50s bucket. so will post in Swapmeet or go to local swaps to find one. For now it looks like a one eyed bug.
