Good day all.

I'm new here, and just got a new toy. As far as I know (I can't fully verified the vin) it a 55 6400 truck.
55 chevy

I'm planing on doing it as a car hauler. making it diesel and 4x4. im not into restoring it as a original as i dont have the power train and I'm not a fan of the old drum brake.
that said im not lifting it or making it look like some modern diesel.

the body was in good shape considering it was park since 82 and I got the full original interior. as far I know, I missing one vent window, the front marker light and rear light and transmiton.
defenitively a ran when park

my guestimate is that it was a potato truck, from where it is and shape of the truck.

anyway i be posting question here and show you the progress.

more photo to come

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
