Got my Grandfathers 1946 Chevrolet 3/4 ton farm truck. It is in very good condition with the usual farm dents and dings.
It is all original except for the 1953 powerglide 235 engine and a replacement radiator. I would like to keep it as original as possible.
I cherish the smells of my childhood while riding in the truck with Grandpa. Not sure if it is the dust/oil/grease/grain smell, but it sure brings back memories.
The truck did it work by Roseau, MN from 1947 till I got it in 2010.
It has been fun learning about the starter button, crank start, wood used in the truck body, crank open windshield, gas tank under the seat, one brake light, etc.
I would like to find other Art Deco style truck owners in the Twin Cities of MN.
