I can't seem to get the new glass and seal into that little chanal  . So whats the trick? Working on putting the frame around the new glass. There is a seal tape that gets pressed in to the frame channal with the new glass. This is so tite I am afraid of braking the glass. Can one be made up for the home shop, maybe using bar clamps like your would make up a table top out of edge glued solid wood boards? Do they use a lubricant to help it slip into the channel without tearing?

I think I will try some bar clamps,some pieces of 2x4 too spred the load, a little WD-40,and a some heat. I snuck into moma's kitchen put the wind wings in a lasagna pan of water on the stove. When the water came to a boil I used a pair of welding gloves and the old glass slid out like butter. I wouldn't try it fully assembled on my 62 but it might be different on your truck.
