I painted them first, semi gloss black, such as the rest of the truck.
I decided to "brush paint" a couple of things today with some Chrome paine, just to see how it would look.
At a distance, it looks okay. Up close, the brush stokes are apparent.
I'll decided what to do when I put the parts back on the truck.

I'm sure it is a little more expensive, but it is awesome and quite shiny and very durable.

Shake it until you can't hold your arm up anymore and then spray it VERY LIGHTLY. To make it look good do about 3 coats of paint. If you do more than barely spray it you will have a mess. | | |
