All I can find is a five hole gasket but need the six hole one. Leaking and getting raw fuel smell in the cab. Thanks in advance for direction. Also is this cork or rubber? Thanks!

Looking at the way the unit is mounted on the tank, it appeared all of the screws holding it in place are the same size. Guess I was thrown off by one of the holes in the gasket being smaller. I will give it a go and thank you!

I had a problem with gas smell and found the rubber hose that connects the filler tube on the outside of the truck to the metal tube feeding the tank on the inside of the cab had a loose connection. Over the years all the movement had the rubber hose almost pulled off on the low end. The hose clamp was not very tight either. When I would fill up gas would leak out around that connection into the cab. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 444 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 444 | I have no idea what vehicle your gas tank is from .
The photo in my first post showing my 1954 3600
gas tank is the original tank to my truck.
Obviously your tank has been changed at some point .
