CJDublu Shop Shark C Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 106 Kenosha, Wisconsin	Clyde has a small fuel leak somewhere around the 5/8 full line and I have been looking into material to recover the seats while I had the tank out. During my search, I came across an article on Jim Carter's blog about seat covers. At the very bottom of the article was this line, "SURPRISE: As of December 2016, new 1937 gas tanks are in stock. Just like GM made them 8 [sic] years ago!" I assume the 8 is a typo as the trucks are 80 this year. Well, I searched and searched the catalog to no avail. Today I called JC and Pat confirmed that my wildest dreams had come true! They have in stock a brand new underseat fuel tank for the '37 half tons! For $350 you get a new tank complete with a new bung for the filling port and new sending unit. Know I know what Clyde wants for his birthday... For those interested, the part number is MEG143. Does anyone know if we still get a discount with Jim Carter? ~Justin 1937 Chevy 1/2-ton "Wylburr Clyde" In the Stovebolt Gallery More pictures on Google My Grandfather bought it new and Dad drove it through highschool. The 3rd & 4th generations put it back on the road on 8/8/2015!

One reason a vendor or two stopped giving discounts was because everyone was giving out the "password" and not making a contribution. Hope this clears things up for everyone that I may have misled!!
