Are the original master cylinders the same on the 58 Viking 1 1/2 and two ton as they are on 1/2 ton? If not , does anyone know a part number or source for new or rebuilt? Also. Are the original front wheel cylinders (14 inch drums) on this Viking 60, 7-8ths bore?? That's what the sales rep at Jim carter truck parts told me. ....but the ones on my truck are larger bore so the rebuild they sent me won't fit. Wondering if mine has had heavier wheel cylinders put on at some time due to lack of availability or iff the sales rep was wrong about them being 7/8th bore. Thanks for all y'all s enlightenment and willingness to share your knowledge. Pete

master cylinder is not the same, I believe it is a smaller bore on the 1/2 ton. My 58 Viking 60 master cyl is a 1 1/4" bore and front wheel cylinders are 7/8 (Raybestos wk129). For some reason, I ordered the wrong wheel kits the first time, so I have 4 or 6 that are a 1/8". (Raybestos MK149). not sure what they fit though, or if they are the size you are looking for.

Hy txpete, the correct master cylinder bore for your truck is 1 1/4". RockAuto has Raybestos part number MC21698 $118.99 which is a new part, hope that helps.

Mike, above you mentioned the front wheel cylinder rebuild kits for your Biking "50" were 7/8 th s and the part number for your front wheel cylinders are 7/8 (Raybestos wk129). Would that be the same on my 60 2ton?

Hy Gene_Spartan80, Unfortunately no it will not work the bore on the master cylinder for the 80 series is 1 1/2" the Wagner p/n for the assembly is FE23870. Once again unfortunately the assembly has been made of unobtainium for years, try contacting Geoff at Alretta to see if he can help, hope that helps.
