Just moved to the Minneapolis area more just North-West of the cities and wanted to see who else, if anyone, is in the area?! Maybe sometime down the road meet up when possible and such! Have an awesome day everyone! | | | | Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 11 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 11 | Hi Bigchevroletfan, I'm in St. Paul, I have seen other Bolters from MN on here so it would be nice to have a little get together a kind of get to know you, I have a 55 5400 lcf compleat truck and a 57 5100 cab that I going to put on a p30 chassis, then if all goes right with that then I may try to sell the 55 to help finish the 57, I have tried to do two at once before and it doesn't work to well, so if you would like to get something going get intouch and we can see if we can make it happen. Thanks Roger

It would be great to have a get-together. Anyone going to the Buick show and swap meet in May? How about Back to the 50's?

Wanting to change jobs to have something that keeps me around the cities and not spend two to four nights away from home and family. Anyways, WOW, I really am excited about the response turnout! I am all for getting something put together for this summer when weather is just right to be driving our Stovebolts to meet up for a fun get together that interests everyone. Something simple where a handful of us can meet up, get to see our trucks, who knows maybe do a fun event like say bowling?! Throwing out ideas, but I have yet to personally meet a fellow Stovebolter! | | | | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 7 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 7 |

Thanks Roger

I am still fairly new to the area but if anyone knows of a place that would be a good place big enough for a group of Stovebolters to hang out and exchange wisdom by all means do tell!! Let's make this a group effort to meet sometime this summer that hopefully works. Saturdays, after noon on Sundays due to Church is when I am most available.

It should be fairly close for everyone and has great reviews, great parking space, bowling, pool, bar, etc. Looks like it would work, what say you guys? There are six of us so far that have talked about this get together!! | | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 39 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 39 | BigChevroletFan, Sounds good to me. It'd be cool to meet up sometime, but I probably wouldn't drive my Bolt all the way up there. If you're ever down this way PM me and maybe we could get together. I don't usually check this forum that much. | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 11 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 11 | If anybody is in need I have them 216 and 3 speed that I took out of my truck. I put in a 283 so I don't need it anymore. It turns over and ran 10 years ago. I just can not bring myself to send to the scrapyard. I also have the upper and lower seat springs. So If anybody is interested let me know. It will be cheap really cheap to a good home. | | | | Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 1 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 1 | Hey guys new to the forum and the stovebolt world !!
