Briefly I am restoring my 1952 C3100 and am looking for the radiator support bushings and bolts. If memory serves from tearing it apart some time ago, the bushings/shock absorbers were rubber and a spring. IF you are close to Shelby N.C. you can go to Tommy's Truck Parts out on Hwy 74 and get them from him.
I have a 52 but can't remember the "springs" but that don't mean they weren't there. I had a basket case to start with and ended up going V8.

A spring is not listed or shown in any 47-54 Chevrolet truck radiator mount specification/illustration. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 118 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 118 | My '57 GMC has the exact mounting hardware used that Tim linked. I think it is a GMC verses Chevrolet difference. From what I have found is that the GMC uses a completely different radiator support as well as how the front fenders mount to the frame near the grill. The Chevy assembly manual does not show these springs and u-bolt being used, at least not that I could find.
I was actually just about to put up separate post asking about this hardware, until I saw this. Could somebody tell me the order this mounting hardware goes? Which way does the U-bolt go through the frame/radiator support and where the rubber and metal plate go in relation to the support collar? It's been a couple years sense I tore all this apart and cannot remember.
